Position: Medication Technician

Part-Time and Full-Time
Pay Range: $21.00 - $23.00/ hour

Your Role & Impact

As a Medication Technician, you are entrusted with one of the most important responsibilities in our community: ensuring medications are administered safely, accurately, and with compassion. You will also provide hands-on care and support, working closely with residents and fellow team members to create a coordinated, respectful environment.

Your responsibilities include:

• Preparing and administering medications in accordance with physician orders and company policies.
• Coordinating medications with residents, physicians, and pharmacies.
• Ordering, tracking, and managing medication changes, refills, and deliveries.
• Maintaining accurate, confidential medication and resident care records.
• Supporting residents with personal care and encouraging participation in daily activities.
• Maintaining a safe, calm, and organized environment that prioritizes resident well-being.
• Collaborating with caregiving, housekeeping, and maintenance teams to support overall community care.

What You Bring

We’re looking for someone who combines technical skill with heart and integrity.

• One (1) year of experience assisting with medication in a Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE) preferred
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent required; LVN a plus
• Ability to use Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Genuine desire to serve and care for older adults
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Must pass a Criminal Background Check and Health Screening (including physical and TB test)
• Compliance with vaccination, screening, testing, and PPE requirements per regulatory guidelines
