Marketing Copywriter - In office required- Irvine, CA

Salary range: $70k-80k per year
The Copywriter is responsible for generating compelling advertising content, contributing to marketing campaigns, and working closely with the larger marketing, creative, and communications teams. This role is crucial in shaping how our services are presented and perceived by our audience. As part of an organization, they play a critical role in aligning messaging with the Company’s strategic goals.
Essential Job Functions
- The Copywriter will be responsible for crafting compelling and engaging content that captures the essence of Oakmont Management Group’s communities and residents.
- This role involves creating a wide range of content, from marketing materials and website copy to press releases and blogs.
- The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to write compelling content for potentially emotional consumers.
- Maintain and enhance the company’s brand voice and messaging across all content.
- Ability to develop new brand identities and voices.
- Ensure consistency and alignment with OMG's brand guidelines and strategic objectives.
- Stay up to date with advancements in the industry to create accurate and relevant content.
- Work closely with marketing, communications, and creative to gather information, understand project requirements, and ensure content meets strategic goals.
- Review and edit content for accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
- Ensure all written materials are free of errors and adhere to company standards and style guides.
- Support marketing campaigns by creating compelling copy for advertisements, email campaigns, social media posts, and other promotional materials.
- Incorporate feedback from stakeholders and make revisions as needed.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve content quality and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Prefer bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or related field.
- Prefer three (3) to five (5) years of work experience in Senior Housing Industry.
- Experience with various marketing software and social media platforms, including WordPress and Facebook Business Manager.
- Experience in writing as part of a brand identity.
- Able to operate a personal computer and be proficient in MS Office programs and Google Suite.
- Able to adapt and respond to change, make decisions, and prioritize tasks and projects.
- Must be highly motivated and able to work independently.
- Must pass a Criminal Background check.
- May require team members to vaccinate, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and to wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 or other communicable diseases, per regulatory guidelines.
