The Resident Care Coordinator (RCC) reports directly to the Health Services Director (HSD), who heads up the Wellness Department at this Assisted Living Community. The RCC supervises a team of over 30 Care Givers and Medical Technicians. The RCC sets schedules, provides training and fills in for shifts when there are call-offs. The RCC's duties include supporting the HSD in maintaining paperwork and state-required reporting.

The RCC serves as a liaison between residents and staff. The RCC is an advocate for the wellbeing of the residents, while also ensuring that members of the Wellness team also receive support. This is a CAREER BUILDING ROLE, as many HSDs in this company started as RCCs.
